How is it calculated?

  1. Profit per sale: from average sale and supply price with the same engine as the Profit Calculator (final value fee, per-order fee, tax, cashback, ads, return share).

  2. Monthly sales = listings × sell-through. Sales profit = sales × profit per sale. Then subscription (plan and billing), over-allowance insertion fees and fixed monthly costs are subtracted.

  3. Scenarios: sell-through ×0.7 (pessimistic), ×1 (expected), ×1.3 (optimistic). Growth: net new listings each month; sell-through is assumed constant; insertion fees change with listing count.

  4. Break-even: the monthly sales and listings that cover the costs. Target: the sales and listings your monthly profit target needs. The table shows net and cumulative month by month.

Frequently asked questions

What is sell-through and how do I estimate it?

Monthly sales divided by active listings. 12 sales a month on 100 listings = 12%. 5–10% is typical when starting, 10–20% for established stores; replace it with your own history.

Why ask for an average supply price instead of letting me type the profit?

The engine computes profit per sale: eBay fees change with price and plan, Amazon tax and cashback change the cost. Typing average prices is more reliable than assuming 'my profit is $10'.

How is growth modelled?

Each month the net listing growth is added; sell-through stays constant; insertion fees for listings above the allowance rise automatically. Remember sell-through can fall with volume; look at the pessimistic scenario too.

What should I put in fixed costs?

Monthly costs independent of sales: software subscriptions (Sellerviva included), bookkeeping, exemption filings, bank fees. Don't add the store subscription; it comes from the plan you pick.

Are these numbers guaranteed?

No; it is an estimate based on your inputs. Returns, cancellations, Amazon price changes and eBay rule changes move the result. eBay fees come from the official 2026 table; the date is under the result box.

Turn the math into automation

Sellerviva moves products from Amazon to eBay, keeps price and stock updated with this exact fee model, and protects your profit.

  • Type an ASIN and pull the supply price from the Amazon pool
  • Shipping and other costs pre-filled from your eligibility profile
  • Price and stock updated automatically with this fee model
