eBay.com fee table version 2026-09 (read 2026-09-06); an estimate. Not included: auction listings, listing upgrades, ad and international fees, category exceptions (vehicles, real estate), promotional periods.

How is it calculated?

  1. Subscription: the plan fee for your billing choice (yearly commitment is cheaper; Enterprise is yearly only). No Store has no subscription.

  2. Listing fees: each plan includes free fixed-price listings per month (No Store 250, Basic 1,000, Premium 10,000, Anchor 25,000, Enterprise 100,000). Every listing above that costs the plan's rate ($0.35 down to $0.05).

  3. Selling fees: sales count × eBay fee per sale. With a Basic store or higher the final value fee drops from 13.6% to 12.7% in most categories, 9.35% in electronics. Starter pays the same rate as No Store.

  4. Total and payback: the three are summed per plan; the cheapest is marked. The payback column tells at how many monthly sales a plan becomes cheaper than your current one.

Frequently asked questions

When does an eBay store make sense?

In two cases: you exceed the free listing allowance (each extra listing $0.35), or your sales volume makes Basic's 0.9-point final value fee advantage worth more than the subscription. At $30 sales that threshold is about 82 sales a month; the calculator tells you with your numbers.

Does a Starter store lower fees?

Only the listing fee: extra listings cost $0.30 instead of $0.35. The final value fee is the same as No Store (13.6%). Even for sellers with many listings but few sales, Basic is usually the better deal.

Yearly commitment or monthly billing?

Yearly is cheaper on every plan (Basic $21.95 instead of $27.95). Enterprise is sold yearly only. If you are testing, start monthly and switch to yearly once you are sure; the calculator shows both prices.

Are auction listings and upgrades included?

No. The tool covers fixed-price listings and base fees. Auction allowances, upgrades such as bold title or subtitle, category exceptions (vehicles, real estate) and promotional periods are not included.

Which date are the fees from?

The table is read from eBay.com's official fee pages; the version and read date are shown under the result box. We update the table when eBay changes it.
