What the extension does

The Sellerviva extension does two things, both started by you:

1. Amazon capture — lets you capture Amazon product identifiers (ASINs) and send them to your own Sellerviva workspace, where product data is processed server-side.
2. eBay Radar — on an eBay seller's public "sold items" page, lets you scan that seller's publicly listed sold items and send them to your workspace for competitor research. A scan you start can continue through several pages of that seller's public sold list (up to 25 pages), and if you choose "Scan all sellers" it works through the sellers you saved, one after another.

Data we collect

• Amazon product identifiers (ASINs). When you click "Add to Sellerviva basket" on an Amazon product page, the extension extracts the 10-character product identifier (ASIN) from the page URL or product markers. No other data is read from Amazon pages.
• Public eBay listing data (eBay Radar only). When you click "Scan sold items" on an eBay seller or store page — or when you start a scan yourself from the Sellerviva panel — the extension reads publicly visible listing information from the pages of that sold list: item ID, title, sold date, price and currency, image and listing links, whether the listing is marked "Sponsored", plus the seller's public username, total sold count and public feedback score/percentage. This is public marketplace data. No buyer information is read — eBay does not show buyer identities on these pages, and the extension does not look for them.
• Your Sellerviva session tokens. After you sign in, a session token is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) so you stay signed in. Your password is never stored.

When we collect it

Collection only ever starts with your explicit action: a click on the capture/scan button, or a scan you start from the Sellerviva panel. The extension never collects on its own, on other sites, or while you are idle.

Once you start an eBay Radar scan, it then continues on its own until it finishes or you cancel it:

• The pages of that seller's public sold list are downloaded without opening tabs, using the eBay session already in your browser — the same pages you could open yourself. The extension has no access to your cookies and never reads or stores them.
• Each page is parsed in a hidden helper document (the offscreen permission), the listing fields listed above are sent to your workspace, and the page is then discarded from memory. Images are not downloaded, and no page content is kept in the extension.
• There is a polite pace between pages (about 2.5 seconds) and a cap of 25 pages per seller.
• If eBay shows a bot check, the extension falls back to opening one background tab for that seller's page (it does not steal focus). There is no hidden or incognito browsing.

Data we do NOT collect

• No browsing history, no search queries.
• No page contents beyond the specific product/listing fields described above.
• No personal information from Amazon pages (no names, addresses, payment data).
• No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party data sharing of any kind.

Where data goes

Captured data is sent only to Sellerviva's own API (sellerviva.com/api) over HTTPS, tied to your authenticated account, and only when you explicitly trigger it. Data is processed under Sellerviva's main Privacy Policy and applicable law (GDPR/KVKK).

Data retention & deletion

Session tokens are deleted when you sign out or remove the extension. The capture basket is local and cleared when sent or when you clear it. Server-side data is governed by Sellerviva's retention policy; you can request account deletion in the Sellerviva panel.
